• Understand and interpret customer requirements for coherent optical systems
• Create and evaluate innovative signal processing solutions that are suitable for CMOS implementation
• Model coherent systems at different levels of detail in Matlab, C++, and or Python
• Work closely with the ASIC design team to design the HW block architecture, verify, and validate the optimized RTL implementation
• Define, implement, and execute functional verification and validation of the design
• Write thorough documentation
• Present and defend your decisions and results to customers

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, and 3-5 years of related professional experience.
• OR master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.
