Are you ready to be part of the future? About the jobTether and its affiliated entities (e.g. Bitfinex) are searching for an organized self‑starter to join our Regulatory and Licensing team. The successful candidate is someone with a deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to the crypto‑asset industry in Argentina, and who is excited by the opportunity to apply their existing regulatory experience in an exciting and dynamic business environment.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Affairs & Licensing – Latin America, serving as the primary point of contact for regulatory and licensing matters within Argentina. This is a senior position designed for professionals with proven experience engaging with or working within financial regulators, supervisory authorities, or policy‑making bodies.
The ideal candidate combines strategic insight with hands‑on execution, demonstrates a diplomatic, solutions‑oriented approach in navigating complex regulatory environments, and is able to anticipate regulatory changes and adapt strategies proactively to evolving market and legal environments. You will represent company in regulatory discussions, contribute to regional initiatives under the guidance of the Head of Regulatory Affairs & Licensing – Latin America, and ensure local implementation aligns with the company’s broader Latin American regulatory objectives.
To succeed in this role, the incumbent will continuously strive to self‑develop and enhance their skill sets including understanding the Company’s products and services, blockchain technology, crypto‑assets and the regulatory requirements. Engage with industry associations, chambers, and other stakeholder groups to promote innovation and collaboration.
You will have a focus around translating regulatory requirements in Argentina into clear and actionable strategic recommendations, managing relationships and communications between various stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
