About the role Fiber Planning Support Specialist will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fiber Planning and Implementation team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations and assisting with various documentation, communication, and coordination tasks. Areas of Responsibility

• Provide administrative support for fiber testing and analysis
• Organize and rename fiber test results, ensuring they are stored correctly in project folders
• Conduct preliminary analysis of test results using Viavi FiberSuite or EXFO FastReporter to identify obvious errors
• Obtain and manage quotes from vendors
• Perform SalesForce administrative tasks related to Opportunities
• Assist with network inventory update tasks using data from planners
• Coordinate meetings and manage service provider interactions
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Manage and organize team workload and schedules
• Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in technical administrative support roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in the telecommunications industry
• Language Skills: Fluent in English
